Difference between PPC edition and PC

Post by UGMC » Tue Oct 05, 2004 11:26 pm

There's a random map generator for the computer Slay, right? My question is, is there one for the Pocket PC version as well?

Oh yeah, and another question. Are all the maps of decreased size for the Pocket PC edition? Or are the 3 demo maps just really small?

The Pocket PC maps are exactly the same as the Windows version's maps (as long as you have the most recent versions of each program)

The demo maps for both the Pocket PC and Windows are the first three maps which are all "very small".

The only thing that you can't do on the Pocket PC is play with user created maps generated on the Windows version's map editor.

Only? You can't choose number of players, choose the AI levels seperately, change number of human players, etc., on the PPC version? I'm sure those are included... I really want to check if I buy Pocket Slay, though.

The three options when creating a new game on the PPC version are:
    Number Of Humans
    Island (which #)
Difficulty (Very Easy, Easy, Hard, Very Hard)

It's a lot simpler that way than the PC version, but the game itself is identical. I play the PPC version a lot more than the PC version, just because I carry my PPC everywhere.

Definitely worth owning both versions for me.

Is there an option for number of computer players too?
