I guess Matrix Games gave up and let Sean have Firefight back - excellent! For those of you who weren't around for the first release, Firefight is one of Sean's best games. It's basically a pocket version of Close Combat. An excellent little WWII tactical simulation. Everybody buy a copy so we can see some more upgrades, North Africa and Burma scenarios, etc. etc.

I got fed up with waiting for Matrix Games to do anything.

Thank the gods you brought it back. I bought the Matrix version after losing the copy I bought here... oh dear. They changed the introductory speech... WTH?? Plus they managed to introduce a problem whereby you had to run the game under an administrative account, or it wouldn't generate the map.

It's good to see it back where it belongs.
