I would like to know if there would be a linux version of firefight

No, sorry, I just don't have time to work on porting Firefight to other platforms.

I managed to run Firefight in WINE. It loads much slower than on Win98 (generating a map takes a few minutes) but at least I can finally play with normal colour depth. The terrain looks quite lovely :) .

Any chances for normal file opening in makemask and rotate? It's impossible to drag and drop files to WINE :( .
