Visibility bugs?

When enemy ship decide if it's time to eject, they also seem to see farther than they should.

I'll take a look at the code but I don't think the computer cheats at all. The decision to eject or not has a slight random element built in so sometimes enemy ships may seem to eject as if they know what's coming and sometimes they may be stupid and eject too late.

I would not go as far as calling computer cheats. Because the fact that computer sees more (when dying) and eject earlier is actually beneficial to the player. (Since an ejected ship is an extra kill.) This happens frequently when computer's ships is badly damaged (with no working radar in the back). If I just point my ship (with 4 stealth pod on each side) close and near the computer's ship. The computer would eject and I wouldn't have to waste my valuable 45 missiles.

Maybe I am a little confused at how the stealth and radar work. Do you think you can explain the effect of stealth and radar here?
