For a challenge above mission 200 you don't need big multi-fleet war missions. You need MORE enemies vs just your fleet.

(Note to self: Post some custom missions to my website).

If you want to increase the number of credits you have, just use the mission designer to design a mission with no enemies. Every time you play it, you will succede on the first turn.

BoxZone_Author wrote:* Killing enemies is good. The more things you kill the better, turrets and civilians are 'worth' a less than you might think. Concentrate on enemy fighters.
* The ratio of worth_of_ships_killed_by_you vs the_cost_of_your_ship affects the medals you get. Thus if you are flying a very expesnive ship it is extremly hard to get good medals (I've never got a GC when flying a >400 credit ship).

So in general is it better to -

a) fly an expensive ship yourself, give cheapo ships to your wingmen, and get loads of easy kills yourself, or

b) get kudos by flying cheapa** ships, give the kick-a** ships to your wingmen, get fewer kills yourself, and hiding / surviving?

balance it. I have a Heavy Bomber that has fairly good performance, is armored a little, stealthed a little, has a couple repair bots. Its cost is 199, so it takes about 30 mission to get to it, but now thats all I fly, at least for now. If I do a really good mission, I get a GC. np. So you have to create a balance between cost and effectiveness.
