I'm an asteroid and my enemy isn't doing anything.

Hi to all! I've been playing Critical Mass for a while now and have reached a fairly good position. I have reached mission 320 (which I'm stuck at right now) and drive ships with 8 super shields on each side and I have something around 1200 kills, so I've been working at this for a long time. I've also been creating loads of my own missions lately but this time I appear to be an asteroid! :x I think the mission was too complex as this has happened before but this time the enemy isn't doing anything. It can't get through the asteriod field to finish some parts of a convoy off. I've been clicking "end turn" for ages now and they have made no progress. The asteroids don't move for some reason. :( What should I do?

I will presume your own ships are out of missiles. Your options are to push one of the convoy ships out into the open, push one of your own ships out in the open, or push some asteroids out of the way. Of course, if you have no ships on the screen, you just have to wait it out. it could take a long time. Have you made out your last will and testament? Will your grandkids be able to keep clicking the end turn button?

Normally, the game times out if no missiles are fired for about 39 turns. In some cases, this does not happen because opposing forces are in close proximity.

When I started the mission I was an asteriod. I never had any missiles or ships. The enemy and the convoys and colonisers were the only things there (at least the other fleets on my side were destroyed very quickly).

It is the enemy who is stuck not me, so I have no direct control. I cannot eject or hyperspace because I am an asteroid. The enemy is almost on top of the convoy. Only two asteriods stand in their way. The convoy will not move because it has ejected comletely and has crashed into those anti moving asteroids, which are me... :? The asterdiods don't move even when they are crashed into.

Also, I hope to have 80 years to live from now so I shouldn't need my grand children to carry on.

Edit: my entire fleet is an asteriod, all 5 of them incase you wondered how they could be destroyed so quickly. When I "go to my ship" I am taken to an asteroid, and the same happens if I click on any of my other ships.

Wait, something is happening! 1 missile was fired, and it scores! :D That must have been over 200 turns. I just wish the rest of that convoy wasn't still there.
