Memory is down, repeat, memory is down!

Has anyone ever reached up to get something out of a cabinet or off of a shelf and been pummeled unsuspectingly by something that had been behind, next to or on top of the desired object?

In this case, I pulled on an antistatic bag that I was pretty sure contained a 100-BaseTX Ethernet card, only to find the old sticker on this particular bag had stuck to another, slightly larger bag next to it. A few dozen SDRAM modules came crashing down around me. I promptly threw them back in their bag and stuck it back away. Ironic that less than a decade ago, I'd have been surrounded by thousands of dollars of high end computer equipment...

Happens all the time. Though I hardly find anything valuable or useful. I also hardly look for anything valuable or useful in the first place, I guess...

It is imminent when you keep as much stuff as me. Computer stuff never leaves, it just gets shelved, then eventually piled in one of our more weather resistant sheds.

Pulled a box of cereal out of the closet and got whacked by a 50-pound bag of rice. Eh.

Opened fridge door and 6 eggs and a pot of jam went all over me.
